That was cute Joy! I just do scissor cuts on my boys when they are young like that. Plus, you can put them to sleep and do it then :o)
He is adorable. I usually make Dave do the haircuts - boys can be so wiggly and I don't want to risk it. I do the cuts sometimes though and it definitely takes some practice to get comfortable doing it! :)

I use to do my boys hair also. It worked best to turn it on and let them hold it(with help) so they can see what the buzzing is about. Also on my youngest we had to change the name from hair cut to "do your hair" or "trim your hair" A cut hurts, whether or not they have been cut they know from others in the family. They are smarter sometimes than we give them credit for. I also had to give more than one toy while doing and sometimes bribed them with a cracker or celery or whatever. It just went so much easier.
